Back in September, we shared some behind-the-scenes footage of the team filming for PETA and their Vegan Farmer Campaign. As you probably already know, PETA is a non-profit organisation fighting for animal rights. They recently ran a campaign backing British farmers who bring plant-based options to the table, instead of those who focus on meat and slaughterhouses. We produced a video about the benefits of vegan farming and the positives for the consumers and the farmers, check out the video here.
Our video and the campaign blew up across TV and social media. PETA posted the campaign video on Facebook and Instagram and it brought over 30k views. Plant Based News also shared the video which saw a whooping 75k views on Instagram alone with hundreds of positive comments. Not only did our video hit thousands of people, but it also sparked interest in some big names such as Matt Barnes, Jasmine Harman and Benny Cristo who left comments on the video. Also, Jason Gardiner and Mark Hanretty both left likes on the video.
Most excitingly of all, the video campaign sparked some big interviews for PETA’s media and comms manager Jennifer. She appeared on BBC West Midlands and GB News with Nigel Farage discussing our campaign. The interview was shared across social media reaching none other than TV’s Dragon Deborah Meaden and farmer Gareth Wyn Jones (albeit he was a little grumpy).
Overall our campaign saw tremendous results and reached some amazing people spreading the message far and wide to support Vegan Farming. Fun project, with great results, we can’t ask for much more!
